The Vampire Diaries Season 2 Episode 9
Fresh from the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries, I’m disappointed that we won’t get to see the next episode ‘Sacrifice’ until Dec 2! In this episode we learned a lot about Katherine’s origins and a bit about the Originals. The mythology behind the curse of vampires and werewolves, the moonstone, and some witch-y goodness involving the monster race to cure the curse first. Literally! Which begs to question, if you were an ancient vampire that could walk in the sunlight and had power and wealth, would you want to end the curse and die after all those years? Something about the new warlocks must have you wondering, are all the witches/warlocks black? Is that intentional to the lore behind the show? In this episode we meet the Martins from “Louisiana” supposedly. Bonnie seemed to get a bad feeling at first until the younger Martin smoothed things over. We find the father working for Elijah. I’m pretty anxious to see Klaus. He should be one bad-ass vampire and maybe with some abilities we haven’t seen yet. Did you enjoy the episode? Do you like Damon and Rose together or hope it was just a quick fling? Caroline was a favorite of mine again this episode. Let’s get down to business with some video and a few links to some recaps.
