The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Spoilers and Release Date Revealed
The Vampire Diaries executive co-producer, Kevin Williamson, shared last week that the script for season 4, episode 1 is complete. In a totally teasing tweet, Kevin wrote that, “I’ve got a script in my hand and it has the number 401 on it. What could it be?” Obviously we all know what it is, it’s the big season 4 premiere episode!
Sadly, Kevin would not give any dish on what is actually in the script, but luckily we have already had a few hints and spoilers thrown our way in the past few weeks. So while he didn’t reveal anything this time, he has shared a few goodies in the past.
One of the few spoilers let loose was that Elena did not know she had vampire blood in her system before she died and became a vampire. Knowing Elena, she is SO going to be pleased about that. I’m sure she will be having a not so pleasant chat with Dr. Fell.
According to Kevin she didn’t know about the vampire blood, “No,” he said, “She was sacrificing herself for Matt.” So, Elena really did think she was going to die.
“It’s going to be very emotional,” Kevin continued, “I’m loving the journey that the writers are creating for her.”
It was also revealed that Klaus’ body wasn’t totally destroyed. That probably means that Klaus will eventually be out of Tyler’s body and back into his own. But I bet he’ll have fun in Tyler’s first.
Kevin and his co-producer Julie Plec also shared that next season will focus mostly on Elena’s vampire transition and how her friends and family will deal with her being one of the bloodsuckers.
As for when The Vampire Diaries will return for its fourth season, the CW has released that info as well. The big day is currently set for October 11th, 2012. That is a LONG ways away and much later than previous season premieres.
Who here is excited about Season 4? What do you think about what has been revealed so far?
Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
