THE WALKING DEAD: Another One Bites The Dust
Typing the headline to this article just now only serves to remind me that I haven’t seen BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY yet. I must get around to that. I doubt I’ll get the chance to go this weekend, and even if I did manage to make it to the theater, THE POSSESSION OF HANNAH GRACE opens on Friday and I’ll probably see that one first. I hope it ends up being as good as it looks.
Anyway, THE WALKING DEAD. Yeah, they killed off another major character. Jesus. That’s three down this year, if we count Rick, though I’m not sure we should, since he isn’t really dead and he isn’t really gone. More like he’s moved away but will still be coming back for visits. Carl they offed, though. And Maggie *might* be dead, though I doubt it. Tom Payne, who plays Jesus, has stated that he was bored with the show, the same as a lot of fans, myself included. I wonder if that sentiment had anything to do with the writers’ decision to send him packing? Will that make it easier for THE WALKING DEAD faithful to swallow the pill, knowing that Payne was ready for Jesus to purchase the proverbial farm?
