In case you haven’t noticed already, vampires are sorta kinda ridiculously popular right now. Which means, everyone is trying to cash in on the them, and I mean everyone, even cruise ships. Oh yes, my vampire-lovin’ kin, you can go on vampire themed cruises now. Because nothing says bloodthirsty undead like cocktails on the deck and family karaoke. Sarcasm aside, if you and your family love vampires then you may want to consider checking out these cruises:
The Alaska Twilight Cruise and Convention at Sea
A cruise for all the Twihards out there! The passengers aboard the ship will be able to meet stars from the Twilight movies – including Alex Meraz (Paul in Twilight), Michael Welch (Mike Newton in New Moon) and Jodelle Ferland (Bree in the upcoming movie Eclipse). After taking photos of the actors and partying up in the Twilight costume ball, passengers get to leave the ship for a 3-day tour of Fork, WA, where the series takes place.

River Cruise to Dracula’s Castle
Are you one of those old school vampire fans that despise the tween mania? Then this is the cruise for you! Just make your way to Bucharest for the Eastern European river cruise into Romania with Viking River Cruises’ Eastern European Odyssey River Cruise. You have the option of adding on a trip to Brasov for a tour of Dracula’s Castle (officially Bran Castle), which once belonged to Vlad the Impaler.

New Orleans
Thanks to the wonderful Anne Rice, New Orleans has become vampire central. New Orleans has various vampire themed tours you can go on that are definitely worth the trip. While you can’t go on a cruise through New Orleans (obviously), many cruise lines do offer the option to stop in for a visit of the city. British cruise line P&O offers a 30-night cruise on Aurora, taking in 11 ports in eight countries, including a stop in New Orleans.
