Top 5 Erotic Vampire Books

Once feared undead monsters, vampires are now objects of desire. We fantasize about them overpowering us completely and totally, sinking those fangs into our flesh and giving us a night to never forget. They’re dangerous, experienced, and damned sexy. Inspired by those that love vampires in the naughtiest of ways, I put together this short list of some of the best erotic vampire books out there. There are many books on vampire erotica, but some are most definitely better than others. Here are the top five sexy vampire books I have come across:

Girls Who Bite: Lesbian Vampire Erotica by Delilah Devlin and Delphine Dryden
These are no Twilight tales — the stories in Girls Who Bite are varied, unexpected, and soul-scorching. Best-selling romance writer Delilah Devlin and her contributors investigate vampire myths from around the world, and add fresh girl-on-girl blood to the pantheon of the paranormal. Take a walk on the wild side with some of the hottest erotic romance authors out there.

The Vampire Queen’s Servant by Joey W. Hill
From an award-winning author comes the tale of Lady Elyssa Yamato Amaterasu Wentworth, a centuries-old vampire who’s been given a new servant-Jacob, a total alpha male unaccustomed to submitting to any woman’s wishes. What really binds Jacob to her are not her sensual midnight hungers, but something far more provocative. It stirs her blood, renews her life, and awakens her soul like only true love can. The passion between Elyssa and Jacob yields something else unexpected-a shared history that reaches back through the centuries and is fated to challenge their destiny like nothing ever will again.

Bites of Passion: A Ravenous Romance
There is no more sensuous figure in dark fantasy than the vampire. Whether a powerful seductress who harnesses the night to her will or a mysterious and handsome demon lover who demands surrender in exchange for passion, Bites of Passion presents many incarnations of the ancient myth. Eight top authors explore themes of immortal love, the lust for blood (and other things), and the eternal struggle between light and dark.

Erotica Vampirica
One of the sexiest anthologies I have come across. From a Victorian point of view, sexual lust and evil are almost synonymous, and that is nowhere more evident than in the potent mythical figure of the vampire. The vampires in these erotic, spellbinding stories play many roles: some are feared more than the most trusted partners in S/M play, some are adored as even the most fleeting of one-night lovers are fondly remembered, and some are desired because they represent the wildest sexual ecstasy, seemingly out of reach — forever. Still, others are worshipped as dark redeemers whose mercy is as compelling as heaven’s in a seemingly godless age.

Blood Surrender
There is perhaps nothing more erotic than the potent mixture of danger, darkness, and desire that the vampire represents. Creatures cursed by lust to walk the night, seeking ever more decadent pleasures, vampires are the ultimate sexual beings. In these stories of carnal pleasure and dark magic, erotic writers such as Thomas S. Roche, Catherine Lundoff, and Allison Lonsdale explore the attraction and seductive power of the dark side.

There you have it, a small look into the vast world of vampire erotica. There are countless sexy vampire books out there, but these are some of the sexiest.

By Moonlight

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).

  5. Thank you for your article. For me, nothing beats a good erotic vampire tale, nothing. Now if we can only see some (how about all!) of these great stories brought to the silver screen!

  6. Creatures… seeking ever more decadent pleasures, vampires are the ultimate sexual beings.
Increasing their likelihood of infidelity to long-term partners and setting the stage for some nasty breakups.

The time is ripe for an author to explore the dark side of the vampires’ passions.

Not to worry, my “anti-romance” will have its fair share of decadent eroticism.

    1. Lol, yeah, these are most definitely not romance novels – no relationships, no cuddliness, none of that. Just sex. ;)

  9. I recommend “Midnight Cocktail”, which does something a bit different with smutty vampires… a neo-noir contemporary setting and a badass alpha-female vamp protagonist called Lana V. Plenty of varied sex scenes, no teenage angst, and already several enthusiastic reviews on Amazon (UK).
