True Blood Goes Girly with New Beauty Line

If you’re a True Blood lovin’ fashionista then you will be pleased to know that HSN is launching a full line of True Blood-inspired beauty products, from nail polish to perfume, this August 9. Soon you will be able to bring out your inner diva like Pam or go for the girl next door look like Sookie. Not only that, but you can even make your home smell True Blood themed with the line of candles and home diffusers that are also being released with the beauty products. Just what any hardcore Truebie wants.

According to In Style, there will be the Forsaken perfume, body cream, and body powder, plus a candle, home diffuser, and home fragrance set designed by D.L. & Co. The line will also feature six new nail lacquers by Deborah Lippmann, all based on characters like Pam, Sookie and Jessica. This collection also marks the launch of Lippmann’s first venture into facial cosmetics with a blackberry-hued lip color that she says is “an innovative lipstick formula that provides a nail lacquer-inspired fashion-forward intensity, shine, and color.”

This isn’t the first time True Blood has inspired a beauty collection — last year there was Tarte’s line, which was created in collaboration with the show’s makeup department head, Brigette Myre-Ellis. However, this line with HSN is the first time the show has gone all out with the beauty products.

For more info and photos you can check out In Style’s detailed post about the collection HERE. And on August 9, you can buy the goodies yourself on HSN’s website HERE.

What do you guys think of the line? I have to say that the nail colors don’t exactly impress me, they look boring. Plus they are crazy expensive, just like everything else in the new line. But that’s True Blood for you. Every time they have a makeup line or a fashion line of some kind the prices are insane. Like their purse line, which had a Lafayette themed purse that cost an absurd $675. This new makeup line isn’t as bad as that, but I’ll have to pass either way.
