True Blood returns THIS SUNDAY, June 26 at 9/8c, for the fourth season! Woot! Gearing up for the return, HBO has created an assortment of exclusive experiences on Facebook for fans of the vamptastic show. All you have to do is head over to the True Blood Facebook page, click “like” and then enjoy all of the goodies offered. Here’s a peek at the awesomness you can find on True Blood’s Facebook.
BLOOD LINE
If you head over HERE to the Blood Line section of True Blood’s Facebook page you can sign up to receive a weekly call from a different True Blood cast member all season long! That’s right, you’ll be getting calls (pre-recorded obviously) from your favorite characters! The app also allows fans RSVP for Sunday’s premiere.
PROFILE LAYOUT
Over HERE fans are invited to “show their true colors” by applying a Season 4 banner across their profile pages with the official Profile Layout app. You can see the banner above, if you use the app it will replace images of you with the True Blood banner.
IMMORTALIZE YOURSELF
I already mention this fun app over HERE, but I’m including it with the rest of the Facebook goodies. This “Immortalize Yourself” application allows fans to make an exclusive interactive Season 4 video starring themselves, their friends, and their favorite True Blood characters. Since the launch of this app on June 7, over 90,000 videos have been created and shared by Truebies. The direct link to Immortalize Yourself if HERE.
JESSICA’S BLOG
Baby vampire Jessica’s blog is back! Ok, this isn’t actually a Facebook exclusive, however, they just announced it on the True Blood page and are posting the videos on there, so I might as well include this bit of great news. Last year “Jessica” posted video blogs of herself chatting or, uh, playing with her fangs, and they were awesome! Now they are back! You can see Jessica’s newest video diary over HERE on the official website.
