Universal Studios is Looking for Vampire Dancers!

Do you love vampires? Do you love to dance? If you answered yes to both then have have got to check out Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Night open call auditions. They are currently recruiting for their annual Horror party, which kicks off on September 24. More info on the event can be found HERE. I have to admit that once again I am jealous that I live so far away from all the fun. Lame.

Anyway, my boring town aside, here are the official tryout details:

WHAT: They only come out at night, but for this audition, they’ll make an exception: Universal Studios Hollywood’s “Halloween Horror Nights” holds open call auditions for a dance troupe of vampires with the all the right moves.

Candidates-expressive and versatile dancers of both genders–will assemble at Universal Studios Hollywood to perform a series of elaborate dance sequences, choreographed to techno-funk music. Fangs are helpful but not required for consideration.

As the place where legends of Horror come to life, Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights” kicks off on Friday, September 24 and will offer spine-chilling new mazes based on the horror genres’ most compelling characters. Rob Zombie and other top artists are collaborating with Universal Studios Hollywood in the creation of new mazes, “scare zones” and backlot experiences.

WHO: Blood sucking dancers that bite.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: The Globe Theatre venue at Universal Studios Hollywood
(100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608)

This is a great opportunity for the dancer-loving vampire fans out there. You get to be a sexy dancing vampire! Mayber. If you live in the area make sure to give it a shot, then leave a comment and let us know how you think you did.  And, if you do get the part, you had better share pictures with your fellow vamp lovers.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
