And we’re back with more books! Since so many vampire books are coming out this month I had to split it up. I already covered the young adult books coming out this January HERE, now it’s time to take a look at the adult vampire books gracing bookshelves this month.

Maestro’s Apprentice: A Ravenous Romance by Rhonda Leigh Jones

Now she wants to play and, for her, playing means wild, crazy sex with strangers. She doesn’t count on meeting the vampire Francois Villaforte at a resort for vampires in New Orleans. She doesn’t know he is a very bad man hell-bent on revenge, or that she is going to be caught up in his evil plan. She doesn’t know that she will not be able to stop thinking of Adam, the gentle vampire who took her away from Claudio, whom she assumed she would soon leave her in pursuit of sexual adventure. What will become of Autumn? What does Francois have planned for her? Will Claudio find her and take her back? Will she ever see Adam again?

Max is determined to destroy Shia for killing his progeny, while Royce’s interest is a lot more personal. That’s not sitting well with Shia’s werewolf boyfriend, Chaz. As the feud between Max and Royce gets ever more deadly, a powerful vampire-hunting faction is urging Shia to join their side. Shia has always believed vamps were the bad guys, but she’s discovering unexpected shades of grey that are about to redefine her friends, her loyalties – and even her desires.

The price for her brief success may prove costly.

March in Country: A Novel of the Vampire Earth by E. E. Knight
The 9th book in the Vampire Earth series. The race is on to claim the area between the Ohio River and Tennessee. What’s left of the resistance is hiding out in the tangle of central Kentucky hills – leaving the powerful, well-organized Kurian vampires the opportunity to fill the void. Major David Valentine knows there’s only one way for them to find help before the Kurians settle in: a desperate dash by hijacked rail, followed by a harrowing river journey. Valentine unites friends old and new in the effort- but the Kurian Order won’t easily yield the blood-soaked Kentucky soil.

By Moonlight

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).

  6. Endless Night by Kenn Baker is available at amazon:

I was tired of vampire stories where the protagonist was whiny and didn’t want to drink human blood, so I wrote a vampire book for people who like vampire books. About the book:

James is a vampire who wants to hunt, he relishes the kill. He wants to hunt openly, leaving the dead where they fall, but his pack leader Brad insists upon discretion. James is discontent with this domesticated vampire existance, and does everything he can to change his life, fix his relationship, end the tyranny of Brad and avoid that pesky sun.

Endless Night is a fang filled feeding frenzy of fornication and of course….blood.
