Hurray! It’s my favorite time of the month! It’s the day where we take a look at all of the fangtastic vampire books hitting bookshelves this month. June doesn’t have as many new vampire releases as past months, but in spite of that there are still quite a few great looking books coming our way. Check them out!

Verland: The Transformation by B.E. Scully
Verland is about true crime writer Elle Bramasol, who is drawn into a macabre mystery when incarcerated Hollywood producer Eliot Kingman asks her to write a book about his case. As she delves deeper into Kingman’s murder conviction, she discovers that he possesses a centuries old diary written by an elusive vampire named Verland. Uncovering the transformative secrets held within the diary’s pages, Elle is drawn deeper into both Kingman’s deadly schemes and Verland’s dark world of shadows.

Bringing Light to Twilight: Perspectives on a Pop Culture Phenomenon by Giselle Liza Anatol

Hit List (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter) by Laurell K. Hamilton
In the 20th Anita Blake book word has leaked to Anita Blake that hit men are headed for St. Louis- and that she, Jean-Claude, and Richard are the targets. Hmmm, that’s a really short plot description, curious as to how that’s going to make an entire book. Ugh, I just hope it’s better than Bullet.

As you can see, there really aren’t a lot of vampire books coming out this month, which is a shame. However, last month we were totally slammed with vampire books, so much so that I had to do two posts to cover them all, so maybe that’s why there are so few this June. Anyway, here’s hoping next month brings us way more than this month!
So, which June’s books are you most looking forward too?
– Moonlight
