The Dark-Hunters Volume 4 by Sherrilyn Kenyon
In the war against vampires, mankind has only one hope: The Dark-Hunters. Ancient warriors who died of brutal betrayal, the Dark-Hunters have sworn themselves into the service of the goddess Artemis to protect us. Volume 4 continues the tale of Talon and Sunshine. The Dark Hunters manga is based on the series of novels by Sherrilyn Kenyon, and I’ll admit it, I am a HUGE Kenyon fangirl! If I were to ever meet this author, there would definitely be some girly squealing of joy. While the manga isn’t as good as the books, they’re still pretty fantastic.
Coming out March 1, 2011.
Chibi Vampire: The Novel Volume 8 by Tohru Kai and Yuna Kagesaki
About Karin, who is a reverse vampire – instead of sucking blood, she injects it into her victims and fills them with vitality! Concerned about who will protect Karin when she awakens as a full vampire, Anju collaborates with renegade vampire Noel to test Kenta’s loyalty. Noel bites Kenta, draining him temporarily of his usual responsible, dedicated, and hardworking tendencies. While she’s at it, she hypnotizes him and instills in him the idea that vampires are humans’ enemies – including Karin! Suddenly, Kenta’s behavior towards Karin changes dramatically, and the hapless blood-increasing vampire has no idea what’s come over her sweetheart.
