The Vampire Diaries is introducing a new face.
The CW’s vampire drama has booked former Eureka star Colin Ferguson in a significant role on the upcoming sixth season.
Colin Ferguson will be joining TVD in the fall to play a militia leader named Tripp, who mentors and becomes a surrogate father to some teens working to protect Mystic Falls. Colin Ferguson developed a huge fan base while playing the quirky sheriff on ‘Eureka’ from the Syfy Channel. Although no one except Damon is really safe on ‘Vampire Diaries,’ I’m hoping to see Colin Ferguson’s character live at least a season or two. Who do you think Tripp’s love interest will be?
