Vampire Goodies for Droid Users

I finally have a smart phone (I’m a bit behind) and as I’m sure you can guess by the title of the post, it’s an Android. After playing with my phone for hours on end I was happy to find that there are LOADS of vampire apps and games available for droid users, and of course, I have to share the awesomeness with you guys. Plus, we have covered iPhone games and such many times in the past, so it’s time to give the Droid users a little love.

Here’s a look at a few of the many vampire apps and games available for Android users (click titles to view in the Android Market).

Zedge: This is one of my personal favorites, it’s a personalization app that has thousands of wallpapers, ringtones and notification sounds. This app has SO many badass vampire wallpapers and ringers!  The wallpapers are mix of everything, from stunning vampire art to pictures of your favorite vampires from your favorite movies and shows. There is also a wide assortment of ringers too, you can have Vampire Diaries ringers, True Blood, Buffy and loads more. Who wouldn’t want to hear Spike everything someone sends a text?

130 Legal HorrorFilms: The title of this app pretty much gives it away – it’s an app that allows you to watch 130 horror films, and it’s legal. This app has some fantastic reviews, which is what first caught my eye. The films available are all older ones, but there are some good vampire movies to watch, like Nosferatu and Grave of the Vampire.

Choice of the Vampire: This fun little app is a ‘choose your own path’ story. It tells the tale of vampire in New Orleans in 1815 and it’s up to you to choose whether you will seek love, power or redemption. I am absolutely addicted to this, it may not be very visually appealing, but the writing is beautiful and well-written. One of my favorite apps for sure.

The Vampire Diaries: This fantastic Vampire Diaries app lets you browse photos, watch videos and play trivia. Perfect for the VD obsessed fan.

Vampires Live: In this incredibly popular vampire game (over 2 million players) you start off as a lowly vampire and become a powerful vampire lord. I just started playing this and I’m really impressed with how well done it is, the graphics are beautiful and the sound effects are great.

Vampire Trivia: This is a really simple trivia game that quizzes you on vampires in music, TV and movies. It’s super simple and not all that nice to look at but it is incredibly addictive.

Those are just a couple of the apps and games available for vampire fans. There are even more games and an app for nearly every vampire show out there, from Buffy to True Blood. Have a look on the Android Market. And, if you really want to show your vampire droid love, you can even download THIS vampire/droid wallpaper for your computer.

Who here has a droid, do you have a favorite vampire app? Let me know in a comment below.

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
