A man in western Sweden faces charges for illegal weapons possession after building a crossbow to protect himself from vampires.
Was he trying to protect himself against vampires that sparkle? We may never know! But it is illegal to construct your own crossbow in Sweden, apparently, and this isn’t his first arrest for weapons violations either.
But to be fair, Eastern Europe is crawling with monsters; you have that creepy Santa Claus thing they got there, trolls, –big ones and little ones, –the Huldra is a dangerous female troll that basically has the tail of a cow, and hunts for mortal men to cuckhold and force to come shopping with her. And of course vampires, –so no wonder this guy is in his basement making improvised APDs all day.
