Vampire Webcomics!

Fun fact about me – I am a HUGE webcomic addict. Huge! So today I am sharing my webcomic love with all of you by listing off the vampires comics you can find on the web. Check them out and let us know what you think of them (click the titles to go to the comic).

Eerie Cuties
I LOVE love love this webcomic (I’ve even written about it before). Eerie Cuties is a hilarious comic mixed with a bit of horror and a huge dose of cuteness. The comic is about a supernatural high school, full of all sorts of magical beasties. Eerie Cuties has an assortment of fun and amusing characters – without giving the story away, the cast currently consists of 14-year-old and totally lovable vampire, Nina Delacroix and her not so cutesy, blood loving 16-year-old vampire sister Layla Delacroix (who wears an awesome emotive hairclip that I want). Then you have the semi creepy Blair, a toy doll…who is possessed by a male soul. There are a whole bunch of other awesome characters too. I highly suggest checking this comic out.

dream*scar
This gorgeous comic is set in a post-modern, alternate reality, it shows a world where unhumans, creatures of myth and lore [vampires, werewolves, dragons etc], live openly amongst humans and are therefore known for a fact to exist. The story follows Vix, who knows she is an unhuman, and she knows how they are treated. She is lucky though, she is merely something of an empath. Her powers are rather unnoticeable, so she is able to hide it. But when something goes wrong, and people end up dead, she begins to realize that there’s more to her than she can comprehend.

Charby the Vampirate
Charby is a comic full of dark humor, gory deaths and cute characters. The story centers around Charby – a pirate turned vampire – and the secondary characters who, live together in the same house.

Anti-Heroes
According to the official website Anti-Heroes is a “fancomic of Rich Burlew’s own masterful comic the Order of the Stick. This whole thing started out as a humble little project that I posted on Rich’s forums. It became pretty popular, and started to grow in size as well. As the popularity increased, so did my ideas for it, and I realized pretty quickly that I couldn’t keep it on a forum forever, so I had a friend agree to code the website I designed, and here we are. Anti-Heroes takes place within a world governed by the rules of Dungeons & Dragons.”

Love is in the Blood
About Lamashtu, asumerian demon and the First Vampire, who has hidden herself behind many lives. Currently she is Laila McCarthy, Professor of Ancient Cultures. On a military-led artifact recovery mission she faces the forces of an old enemy. Studying the relics with a handsome agent of the Bureau of Evil Elimination brings her ever closer to danger.

Dracula
This webcomic is a furry adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula.

Heavenly Bride
About a celestial dragon who is reincarnated into the form of a vampire after he hears an elusive melody. He then meets a young girl who may hold the secret to that melody.

Last Blood
In this webcomic, after zombies take over the Earth, vampires must protect the last surviving humans so they can live off their blood.

The Colony
The Colony is set in the secluded hills of upstate New York, where there is a place known only to few. It is a haven for all sorts of supernatural creatures, like werewolves, vampires, zombies and more.

Considering that there are hundreds of webcomics out there, there is a chance I may have missed a few vampire comics, so feel free to let me know if you see one missing from the list.

By Moonlight

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).

  5. I liked Dracula adaptation with animal characters. Great atmosphere and they used Stoker´s dialogue! This Jonathan Harker was cutest I have seen, and Dracula was suitably spooky.
