Vampirella vs. Fluffy the Vampire Killer

An awesome comic was just released a few days ago – Vampirella vs. Fluffy the Vampire Killer! It’s a (possibly) hilarious and highly entertaining spoof of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, one that is sure to amuse all Buffy fans (and hopefully not piss them off). Check out the details below!

Young, horny high school couples are being horribly mutilated by demonic Puritans. Time for Fluffy to take a study break and kick some supernatural ass! Meanwhile, Fluffy’s pals are wagging their tongues at the hot new substitute teacher – Vampirella. When the iconic vampire and the teenage warrior face off, the clash is more epic than stripes and polka dots! Vampi continues to tear her way through pop-culture vampirism in dark, brutal – and cathartic – satire from writer Mark Rahner.”

WRITTEN BY: Mark Rahner
ART BY: Cezar Razek
PUBLISHER: Dynamite Entertainment
PRICE: $4.99

According to the review by the guys over at BloodyDisgusting:

“Vampirella goes undercover as Ms. Normandy, the hot new substitute teacher at Fluffy’s high school, which naturally, sits atop an occult portal to Hell. Her predecessor, as it were, was eaten. Besides the obvious nod to Sunnydale’s Hellmouth, there are many references and inside-jokes taken from the BuffyVerse that only grow from page to page. My favourite happens to be The Brass, Rahner’s take on the nightclub Buffy and co. regularly frequent called, The Bronze. Whether it’s normal for high school kids to go clubbing all the time, or even have a nightclub, for that matter, you better believe he mocks it.”

I haven’t read the comic (yet) but as a Buffy fangirl I am hoping the jokes are all in fun and not flat-out bashing Buffy. No Buffy hate! Fangirl rawr! Ahem. Anyway, have any of you read this one yet? If so, what did you think? If not, will you give it a read?
