Vampires in Space: 1 Out of 5 Horror Movies That Failed in the Final Frontier

“When the idea pot runs dry, sending the characters to space just seems to be a go-to plot device, and why not?”

…because they suck? I try to avoid horror movies in which the setting is space, –unless it’s legitimate Sci-Fi, –not like, Critters, or Gremlins, or any of that, ick. I mean like, the Alien franchise. Just aliens and stuff, and good scary. Not vampires in space, that’s silly. Why would a vampire want to be an astronaut?

Additionally, I think the “space” sequels have finally ended after filmmakers basically determined that “in Space” is not an acceptable substitute for the offensive “in the Hood” sequel trope.
