This is vampire-related, so I reckon I ought to report on it. In the interest of fairness, though, I should tell you all that the best I can do is parrot what has been written about it elsewhere. I am speaking of the videogame VAMPYR (not to be confused with the masterful movie of the same name). True confession: I’ve never played it. In all likelihood I never will play it. I’m not a “gamer.” There are two reasons for this. First of all, as far as hobbies go, videogaming is just too damn expensive for me. Likewise, as time is money, it is far too time-consuming. I don’t have the time to spend hundreds of hours playing games.
If, however, you are into that sort of thing, check out this launch trailer courtesy of the cool folks over at bloodydisgusting.com. The product of a company called DONTNOD, the game should be out by the time you all read this. If anybody gets it and plays it, let me know how it ranks on the coolness scale. It will have to be really, really good to top the LEGACY OF KAIN game series—which was the last vampire video game I played. I played it on my trusty PlayStation 2, which was, what? Twenty-two iterations of the PlayStation ago? Yah, I’m a little out of the loop.
