Very First Monster High Movie Out Now

Mattel has had huge success with their crazy popular Monster High franchise. What started out as awesome monster dolls with fabulous fashion sense has turned into video games, clothing, a book series, Halloween costumes, home décor, and so SO much more.  And thanks to the brand new Monster High movie, Monster High: Ghouls Rule, there is now Monster High everything. I wish this stuff was around when I was a youngin – coolest dolls ever, WAY better than Barbie. Who wants to play with a boring Barbie when you can have a vampire doll with hot pink hair, or instead of a Ken doll you can have a werewolf guy. Way rad. Anyway, onto the newly released DVD:

DVD description:

Monster High: Ghouls Rule unearths an old conflict between “Normies” and monsters – and things are about to get scary! For years, students at Monster High were warned that Halloween was a night to stay inside and avoid conflict at all costs. But Frankie and her friends discover that ghouls and “Normies” once loved to spend the holiday together! The ghouls decide to turn back the clock and use the night to celebrate their individuality and show that it’s okay to “Be Yourself. Be Unique. Be a Monster!”

Check out the trailer:

Yes, it’s a kid movie, but it’s supposed to be. It’s the perfect, upbeat monster movie for the little ones. The line has awesome characters like vampires, werewolves, ghouls, ghosts, gargoyles and many more I can’t even label. So much awesome! I wish I was still young enough to play with these, it would be a bit creepy if I did so now. Creepy and highly dysfunctional. Adulthood is lame!

Anyone here picking the new DVD up for themselves or their kiddies? Who here is a Monster High fan?
