Werewolves, Vampires, and Witches, OH MY! in This Week’s True Blood Previews

The next episode of True Blood looks good, but from what I’ve seen, this is where people start drawing lines in the sand, and joining sides. Not everyone is going to stay true to those sides, is my best guess. There’s always someone towards the end, making a last decision, and adding a straw to the camel’s back.

Marcus Addresses His Pack

I dunno how I feel about Marcus just yet, but I can’t help but think this is his smartest move yet. The best thing to do when there’s a vampire issue is say “Oh, it looks like vampires are having problems. Well, my name’s Paul and that shit’s between y’all.” This isn’t X-Men; all the mutants aren’t going to band together to fight for the good of all. These are different species, with different guidelines, politics, and hierarchies. But if the werewolves were to pick a side, which do you think it would be? The overall attitude seems to lean toward the witches and away from the vampires.

Bill Issues a Statement

So apparently, they’re making it look like a mass vampire suicide. But they haven’t let on as to whether or not Jessica died. Although it’s always nice to see Maxine Fortenberry is still a hateful old bitch, it’s even more fun to watch her act like a confused dingbat. Bill was putting the brain whammy on the reporter and she didn’t know whether to shit or go blind. Too bad we don’t get to see Bill’s actual statement. I hope it’s in the show, otherwise, I’ll feel as if I missed some very important eloquent bullshit.

Antonia Reveals Her Plan to Tara

Antonia/Marnie is frustrated because she only managed to kill one fat old chick vampire in a mu-mu. Which I thought was pretty weak, I mean, the poor old lady was still in her curlers, for god’s sake. And the last thing she got to hear was Maxine bitching at her over the fence? Even people standing up to get shot against a wall get a cigarette before they’re blasted into the next world. Seems kind of unfair that she didn’t at least get to die boots on, fangs out.
