WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Season Three Teaser

I’m all sad because my favorite television program, THE SECRET OF SKINWALKER RANCH, just completed its second season, and I’ll have to wait an entire year before the next one. One of the other few shows—the very few shows—that I watch regularly, DARK SIDE OF THE RING, has also completed its 2021 season. Ho-hum. At least I still have all the shows I recorded from this year’s SHARK WEEK to watch. (I was on the road last week and didn’t get to see them yet.) And the biggest treat to look forward to? WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS returns this September! Filming was delayed because of the ‘Rona, otherwise we’d already be mostly through the upcoming season, or maybe done with it altogether. I’m glad it worked out the way it did, because we still have it to anticipate.

Check out this teaser here. As short as it is, it managed to warm the cockles of my cold, dead heart.

So what can we expect from the forthcoming third season? “After the shocking season two finale, we find the housemates in a panic about what to do with Guillermo after discovering that he is a vampire killer. This season, the vampires are elevated to a new level of power and will encounter the vampire from which all vampires have descended, a tempting Siren, gargoyles, werewolf kickball, Atlantic City casinos, wellness cults, ex-girlfriends, gyms and supernatural curiosities galore. Plus, Colin Robinson is turning 100. And Nandor, faced with his own eternal-life crisis, tries to inject his life with more meaning. Will he find love or is he destined to be an immortal bachelor with 37 ex-wives?” Alas, they don’t answer the most pressing question of all: will we see Vampire Jim again this season?
