Where’s Billy?

Doug Jones may well be the coolest human being on the planet. I have said before that the best measuring stick of one’s coolness is to count the number of Funko figures that have been made based on characters that any individual has portrayed. I think Doug Jones wins that one, hands down. I’ve lost count of all the Funko figures that are out there based on Mr. Jones. Plenty, I know, and most of them from the Horror genre. Now we can add a new one to that list: Billy Butcherson from HOCUS POCUS. It’s an exclusive to Spirit Halloween stores, and this past weekend I saw it on the shelves.

Here’s the problem: I pre-purchased my figure, wanting to secure my order, to safeguard that I would for sure get mine. And as I said, it’s out in stores. But mine has not yet arrived in the mail. I started to buy one at the store, but Spirit Halloween doesn’t allow returns (at least the one I patronized did not) and money was a little tight that day, else I would have bought a second, having one to leave in the box and one to open. If Billy is still there the next time I go to Spirit Halloween, and if my order hasn’t come in by that time, I may just go ahead and grab one.
