Your Thoughts on The Vampire Diaries ‘Down The Rabbit Hole’

And the magical island adventure continues in The Vampire Diaries 4.14, “Down The Rabbit Hole.” We met a new hunter, got some exciting new revelations, and of course, dealt with some romance drama. Check out my thoughts on the episode and please share your own in a comment below.

rh9Official episode description for “Down The Rabbit Hole:”

“CHARLIE BEWLEY FROM “TWILGHT” GUEST STARS AS ONE OF THE FIVE HUNTERS — On the island, Damon has an ugly run-in with a Hunter named Vaughn, and realizes he is one of The Five. Stefan confesses his true feelings about the possibility of becoming human again to Elena. When a stunning new piece of information about the cure is suddenly revealed, it changes the stakes for everyone. Jeremy helps Bonnie recognize what is real and what is an illusion, and Shane is comforted by a woman from his past, Caitlin. Back in Mystic Falls, Caroline and Tyler find that their attempt to translate the code on the Hunter’s Sword is futile without help from Klaus, who has his own reasons for solving the puzzle.”

Called it! I knew no one would get the cure. And I knew that folks weren’t really seeing their dead loved ones, but some hallucination caused by Silas in his attempt to get free. Called it twice! Bam! So anyway, I was happy with all of the revelations in this episode, but I HATED the end and I hated that Katherine got involved.

Here are a few things I liked and disliked this episode.

Likes:

  • Vaughn’s accent. My goodness! I never wanted him to stop talking – so hot!
  • Katherine! Happy to see Katherine, but not at all happy that she ruined everything by getting involved.

Dislikes:

  • Elena blaming herself for everyone getting themselves put in danger on the island. Geez, just get over yourself! Ugh, I wanted to jump into the TV and smack her upside her head. She is not the center of the universe.
  • Tyler – bleh.
  • Bonnie and Jeremy dying. Although I have a feeling there’s more to their story.

What did you think of the episode?

Moonlight (aka Amanda) loves to write about, read about and learn about everything pertaining to vampires. You will most likely find her huddled over a book of vampire folklore with coffee in hand. Touch her coffee and she may bite you (and not in the fun way).
