I don’t watch a lot of stuff on the Internet. In fact I don’t waste much time on the Internet at all these days, having to a large extent given up the social media monkey and, elsewhere from Facebook, I never did much time-wastin’ anyway. If I’m online, which I frequently am, and not just on my phone, chances are I’m working. Not bragging, here, just offering an explanation as to how I managed to miss the whole “zombie chicken” on YouTube thing from a few weeks back. I have since rectified this oversight. I have watched the creepy video of the piece of meat crawling off the plate. It seems there is some doubt, though, as to whether or not the mystery meat is chicken, or if the video is even real. I’m somewhat skeptical. If it *is* real, whether it’s chicken or some other form of flesh, such movement would only be possible if the meat is fresh, i.e. if the creature to which it belonged was freshly killed.
As a little boy I saw my father cut the head off a snapping turtle he’d caught while fishing, only for its headless body to crawl off. (Note: Please, never kill a snapping turtle, as they actually are vital to the health of a pond or creek.) I’ve seen snakes with their heads lopped off do the same thing. (Note: Please, never kill a snake, as they are far more beneficial to human beings than they could ever be harmful, and this goes even for the venomous ones.) I’ve seen a fish fillet, cut from a freshly-cleaned fish, when dropped into a frying pan, leap back out again. So it’s possible the revenant meat video is legit. And don’t forget the Zombie Squid.
